TRANSCORP HILTON WINS ANOTHER LAUREL Awarded Travellers Awards Prize for Best Hotel in Nigeria 2012/2013

Transcorp Hilton Abuja has been selected and voted as the Best Hotel in Nigeria for the year 2012/2013 at the 11th edition of Travellers Awards in Abuja. The awards, which were announced at Abuja Bantaba, Abuja’s premier event for travel professionals, are in recognition of excellent performance in the Travel & Tourism industry.

Transcorp Hilton Abuja emerged the winner of the award through a selection process that included online pool and survey conducted by editors of ATQ magazine. Presenting the award, Mr. Ikechi Uko, Publisher of ATQ, organisers of the award, remarked that Transcorp Hilton deservedly won the award because it ‘has consistently demonstrated high quality of service and facility’

‘It is great to see the hard work and dedication of our team recognised by industry professionals. We appreciate the recognition and thank the organizers of the Travellers Awards’ said the General Manager, Etienne Gailliez.

Winner of Hilton Worldwide ‘Hotel of the Year for Middle East & Africa 2010’, Transcorp Hilton Abuja is the choice hotel for local and international conference and events. The hotel recently won the coveted prize of Hilton Worldwide GC&E Sales Team of the Year award for Middle East & Africa Region for year 2012.
Transcorp Hilton’s Public Relations Manager, Shola Adeyemo, received the Travellers Awards ‘Best Hotel in Nigeria’ plaque on behalf of the hotel at the Award Dinner of Abuja Bantaba which took place at the Sheraton Abuja Hotels & Towers.
