The Presidency has announced that the Nigerian Leader, President Goodluck Jonathan who left Nigeria yesterday, to attend a meeting of Honorary International Investors’ Council, “became indisposed and could not be present at the opening of the meeting today”.
President Jonathan has since been examined by competent medical practitioners. He has been advised to rest for a few days. This is the first time the 56 –year Nigerian leader will take ill while on official duty outside the country.
A statement from the Presidency assured all Nigerians that his “condition is nothing serious and that the medical attention he has sought is only precautionary”.
